MINUTA
In this fraction “so said for its small extension”: the church of the SS. Annunziata; the rests of the church of S. Eustachio, the house of the Arabic bathroom.
PONTONE
Called in the 1137 Scalella: church of Saint Giovanni Batiste, church of Black Saint Filippo, church of Saint Maria of the Carmine, Tower of the Ziro, Episcopal House.
CAMPIDOGLIO
The higher village, with panorama on the Coast: on the way of Saint Cataldo the ancient monastery of the Benedictine, today “Rest home for Danish artists”; in via S. Giovanni the church of Saint Giovanni of the Water. After S. Giovanni, going up on foot it be carried out a trip to “Punta d’aglio”, from where a magnificent view is enjoyed of the two valleys: that of the Dragone and the valley of the Flour mills of Amalfi, church of the Annunziata with Auditorium.
S. PIETRO
From Monastery square you can reach the crossroad with the street that carries to S. Peter. Along the road you can find the rests of S. Maria of the Snow, the palace de Saxo, and the Church of Sant Peter in the homonymous public square and an Arabic bathroom very well conserved.
S. CATERINA
The church of S. Caterina and the little church of S. Maria ad portam. Among the excursions that can be carried out from S. Caterina we signal that of S. Maria to Mounts (1050 m.). On the mountain there is a house shelter of the Town hall of Scale. From S. Maria to Mounts can be approached the Cerreto mount with panorama of the valley of the Sarno and the Vesuvio.
